Welcome to Osint For All Guild

OFA Guild is a hierarchical order to define and self analyze your OSINT caliber. It is distinguished into three main categories - Apprentice, Journey Person and Master. You could be in any one of those categories at a given point of time, so you are free to put yourself in whatever the category you wish to. In order to get any badge, join our Discord Server, subscribe to our YouTube channel(also press the bell icon), follow us on Twitter and solve the challenges that we post occasionally. If you don’t want a badge, you can still go through the stages and interact with the community.

Apprentice

Hello Friend
Apprentice
An apprentice is a person who could or could not be a novice Internet user. If you are using the Internet for a long time and you don’t know how it works or if you are a person who has just started using the Internet through the means of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram etc), you are at the right place and there is no better time to learn about the Internet. All learning is possible by “Googling”. More you learn, more you become aware.

  • History of the Internet
  • What is Web?
  • What are Browsers?
  • What are Search Engines?
  • What is Social Media?
  • Why am I getting the Internet for free?
  • Why am I getting to use the social media for free of cost?
  • Where am I getting all these information on the Internet? Who is providing me all these information?
  • Where is all my data going?
  • Why am I using the Internet in the first place?
  • What’s the use of learning OSINT?
  • How can I get basic information on the Internet? (Googling, Maps, Wayback Machine)
  • And always share what you have learnt if you want or if you can without any hesitation

  • What’s MEDIA? (Digital, Mainstream, Independent)
  • What’s cyber security? How relevant is OSINT in cyber security?
  • How can I create my own “system” to find sources, gather information and use that information?
  • What’s the importance of privacy and operational security in OSINT? And why should I/should I not value them?
  • What are the things that I can do to improve myself with regards to “information gathering”? (Blogs, Books, Movies, CTFs, Videos, Thinking out of the box)
  • And always share what you have learnt if you want or if you can without any hesitation
